Either Sunday evening or Monday Morning
[apollo makes it a point to find nanami!]
Hey, when you have a moment, I need to speak to you about something.
Hey, when you have a moment, I need to speak to you about something.

Yes...? What's up?
[ Actually this is sort of weird. He's never sought her out before, so Nanami's sort of eyeing him warily. ]

Thiiis is a weird thing to ask about, so I'm trying to phrase it carefully. But it has something to do with that group and the Mastermind, which of course, you definitely have nothing to do with. Not at all.
no subject
...You may as well just ask. I already know that you believe that report entirely.

But alright, fine. Most of these are semi-hypothetical questions.
What would you say, if I knew someone was fairly sure you were the mastermind, and that said someone was thinking about attempted murder on said mastermind--which would be you, in this hypothetical situation--but then had yet another idea?
no subject
[ Those are her initial questions, honestly. Nanami is...not sure whether or not she should do anything about this. She doesn't raise her voice or anything, though. ]
I...would ask what the other idea was...?
[ What's the right answer...? She doesn't know. ]

The person who first thought of it doesn't want to kill you either! But the logical conclusion one would come to is, "kill the Mastermind, and the game ends," correct?
[an annoyed huff]
But. . .if the mastermind could actually be helpful in taking the entire game down for good, it's more beneficial that they stay alive, at least until we get the information we need. That's where the other option comes in.
no subject
Ah, whatever. I can guess who it is who thinks they should kill me, anyway. What other option...? I think you're probably missing crucial factors in this plan of yours, but I will listen all the same.
[ Does it really matter though, Nanami... ]

Miss Feferi is likely going to be a target. And after that, several other members of that supposed group, one by one. Kuzuryuu, Chizuru. . .
That's the other option. It's not really a plan at all, honestly.
no subject
[ And now she's just staring. ]
...Did you call me out here just to tell me that everyone who isn't in this supposed group will be killing the people Sebastian-san named off one by one? That's...your other option?
[ ...or is he just bad at explaining things...? ]
no subject
[then a nod]
I can't confirm or deny it, but there's a very high possibility. After all, if someone was going after leader, they'd have to take out all the pawns, right? And would whoever is left standing still want to help everyone. . .?
well now it's probably monday morning since she talked to people sunday evening without this
[ She continues staring. ]
So, you called me out because you want to...threaten to kill all those people. That's all. That's...your plan. Because you think that doing so will somehow imbue me with the power to stop this game, because you...think I'm the mastermind?
[ Her hands curl into fists, her nails digging into her skin, but there's nothing further. ]
...or are you saying you plan to sacrifice them to keep me alive? ...No matter what you're saying, you need to stop it now. I am not who you seem to think I am. And I will never, ever...agree to something like this.
Kill me if you want, if you think that is how you will end this thing. I think...your misunderstanding of the situation we're all in will be your downfall, even after you've seen and heard enough to know better. But don't ever approach me about this...option ever again. ...It doesn't even make any sense.
[ She's going to turn to leave now idk what you expected when you suggested she...allow you to murder some of her friends on the basis that some people think she's the mastermind??? Apparently in a hypothetical situation where Nanami were the mastermind she would not be willing to help everyone left in game after they systematically murdered her friends go figure. ]

Miss Nanami. . .before you go, let me make it clear. I don't want any of you to die. Whether they be the mastermind, or suspects, or just straight up assholes. I don't want any more death, and intend to keep searching for a way out of the situation, up until my own end.
You said the same. You genuinely want to see everyone go. But will that be the case if your friends aren't around too? Or would they be happy, knowing one of their friends was offed because of a baseless theory?
Whoever the mastermind is, I know they're bound. They're as stuck as the rest of us, aren't they? That's why I'm presenting this to you--to someone, who even if they aren't the mastermind, is most likely to get the information around. Whatever they can do to avoid either of these terrible fates? Please do it.
I didn't come to threaten you, but moreso to help. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want it after all that. But it needed to be said, first.
. . .
If it puts your mind at ease, it's only a relatively small group thinking this way. But all it takes is a few, I suppose.
no subject
...If you know they're bound, if you think whoever is in that group, whoever the mastermind is, that they're bound...what do you think could even be done? [ That's said very, very quietly, and there's not much hope in it. ] No matter what the truth is, if people decide to do this, does it really matter?
...If you'd been paying attention, you might know why speaking to me about this does you no good. But, that's to be expected. No one else understands about it either. I'm not what you think. And no, they wouldn't be happy if I died.
[ Though she stops walking, turns around, and pulls out her notebook. From the back she takes something, and seems to hesitate, gripping it. After a moment or two, though, she'll shove a picture into his hands. ]
I only told one person here what my picture was of, you know. ...It makes me feel better about things. Maybe it'll make you feel better, too. Give it back to me whenever you feel better.
[ And with that she's well and truly gone. ]

As you said to me, don't lose hope, not yet.

. . .ah.
Take care.
(What the hell is this creepy thing.)
